It's not luck, it's God

With Spring Break now upon us, I felt that it would be a great time to share a short and sweet idea along with my article!
Several years ago, I started a "Thankful Journal" and would list five things that I was grateful for each day. This was such a good way to actively reflect on the many blessings God has provided and to not take anything for granted.
I encourage you to look into doing this or something of the sort, and even share this idea with friends! Breaks are the perfect time to start something new, and spring represents birth and growth and starting fresh!
Also, this month tends to be associated with a certain holiday – you know, the green-themed one? Lots of people get all goofy about it and buy into the "luck" mantra. Ha, kind of ironic since it's all about a Christian saint...
This month, I want to challenge you to think about it differently. When something good happens, I pray you know that it is not luck or a coincidental occurrence, but rather it is God's will and providence.
Let's be more aware and purposeful with being thankful, and avoid giving credit to mere "luck" for positive things that happen to us and around us. God is in control, and nothing and no one can thwart His plan.
Have an amazing break and I look forward to sharing my next article with you real soon! God bless. ✞♡
